Guest Speaker – Tony Ligi, Executive Director, Jefferson Business Council

Tony Ligi currently serves as executive director of the Jefferson Business Council, an organization which consists of 57 owners and chief executives of major Jefferson Parish Businesses. He has served in that position since January of 2013.

Prior to his service with the JBC, he served as state representative for District 79 in the Louisiana House of Representatives. During that time, Tony was a member of the House Appropriations Committee, House and Senate Joint Budget Committee, Audit Advisory Council, House & Governmental Affairs Committee, House Committee on Municipal, Parochial and Cultural Affairs and the House Retirement Committee. In his final year in the legislature, he served as chairman of the Republican House Delegation.
