Mr. Goyrafael-goyenecheeneche has served as president of the New Orleans Metropolitan Crime Commission Inc. (MCC) for the past 20 years.

The MCC was established on February 19, 1952, and has provided assistance on a continuing basis to the New Orleans-area community for over 50 years.Rafael Goyeneche, degree from Louisiana State University and his juris doctorate from Loyola Law School. Upon graduation from law school, Rafael served as an assistant district attorney in Orleans Parish between 1980 – 1986.

The MCC’s goal is to fight crime and corruption in the metropolitan area with a strategy of investigating wrongdoing, being a conduit for citizens to report information, supporting legislative initiatives, and by bringing accountability and transparency to the criminal justice system through research.
