PROGRAM SUGGESTIONS
President-Elect, Joey DiMaggio, Rose Garden of Jefferson would like to hear your suggestions on programs. If you have a program in mind that would be of interest to you or to the association, please contact Susan at susan@gnoea.com.
GUESTS
Today, GNOEA was pleased to have as our guests Johnette Brakel, guest of Bill Brakel, Bill’s Automotive Enterprises, Robin Chailland, guest of Don Chailland, Chailland, Inc. and Jim Hudson, guest of Tom Tappan, both of Iberiabank.
DUAL MEMBERSHIPÂ
Jim Hudson, Executive Vice-President, Chairman Southeast Region of Iberiabank is currently going through our membership process. Tom Tappan and Jim Hudson are both with Iberiabank and are applying for our first Dual Membership. Dual Membership will give them both membership with each paying dues, but they will be sharing the attendance requirements. Jim has attended two meetings, but still needs to attend one more before the board of directors will take a vote.
If you see him at a meeting, please take a moment to introduce yourself.
TODAY’S PROGRAM
Today we were pleased to have as our guest speaker, Gasper J. “Buddy†Stall, Historian. Through Buddy’s writings, UNO and Tulane teaching assignments, numerous radio and television appearances, guest lecturing at almost every university and college in Louisiana and personal appearances, Buddy Stall has taught the history of Louisiana to more people than any other person in the history of this colorful state.
Mr. Stall’s program today was on the beautiful, historic and unique the Metairie Cemetery. We wish to thank him for taking the time to visit with our association.Â
