LETTERS OF RESIGNATION
It was with regret that we were informed of the resignation of Craig Clement, JBA Consulting Engineers. Craig has always worked tirelessly in the pursuit of the betterment of GNOEA and he will surely be missed in this association.    Craig wanted everyone to know that he has truly cherished the time in GNOEA.Â
The classification of “Mechanical and Electrical Consulting Engineers†is now open.
 Â
EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR
GNOEA’s “Executive of the Year†banquet will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Southern Yacht Club. We have started placing sign-up sheets on each table, so please take a few minutes to mark if you will or will not attend, how many people will be in your party and what they will be having fish or beef.
The board of directors has set the price to attend the banquet at $65.00 per person. The menu will included a Caesar Salad, one choice between Beef Filet or Gulf Fish Oscar, Dauphionaise Potatoes, Asparagus, Bread Pudding, Coffee & Tea, and Rolls with Butter. Wine will accompany dinner only, but there will be a “Cash Barâ€.Â
To encourage attendance at the “Executive of the Year†banquet, all members may be assessed for this function regardless of whether they attend. Members are encouraged to invite spouses and guests.Â

PROGRAM
Today we were pleased to have as our guest speaker Peter Ricchiuti. Mr. Ricchiuti teaches courses on the financial markets at Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business.  His insight and humor have twice made him the school’s top professor.
Peter started his career with the investment firm of Kidder Peabody and later managed over three billion dollars as the assistant treasurer for the state of Louisiana. In 1993 he founded Tulane’s highly acclaimed BURKENROAD REPORTS stock research program.Â
BURKENROAD REPORTS continues to attract national media attention and serves as a valuable career springboard for Tulane students. Since the inception of this academic program, more than 550 students have moved on to positions in investment related fields.
The students at BURKENROAD REPORTS meet top management, visit company sites, and publish investment research reports on 40 “stocks under rocks” in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. The in-depth research reports, video presentations, and conference registration information are available at www.burkenroad.org.
There will be a 16th Annual BURKENROAD REPORTS Investment Conference on Friday, April 27, 2012, at the Westin Hotel in New Orleans. This popular event is free and open to the public and provides individual and institutional investors an opportunity to meet management and to learn more about some of the region’s top public companies. Visit www.freeman.tulane.edu/burkenroad for more details on the conference and to register.
We wish to thank Mr. Ricchiuti for such a valuable & entertaining program!
