Pablo Maique, Jr., President of IAQ Services and Kenny Knobloch, President of HELP! Air Conditioning

GNOEA met via Zoom on Tuesday March 2, 2021 for organization updates and to learn about indoor air quality. Guest speakers, Pablo Maique, Jr., President of IAQ Services and Kenny Knobloch, President of HELP! Air Conditioning educated members on the importance of keeping mold and germs out of your air conditioning system resulting in cleaner air for your home or business.

Maique explained that all A/C systems grow mold that will colonize and grow when humidity is sixty-five percent or more. He explained the sanitizing method that he uses to clean ducts and suggested using five inch practical pleat air filters. Kory Knobloch, Help! A/C, shared information on using a UV lite, also referred to as a germicidal lamp, that sterilizes germs to keep from reproducing. The light helps to control growth and eventually kill the germs.

More about the speakers: Pablo Maique, Certified Indoor Air Environmentalist (CIE) and President, Indoor Air Quality Services, Inc. (dba/IAQ Services). He started in the A/C business in the 1970’s and moved 100% into Air Quality Industry in 2004.
