GNOEA members attended an in-person breakfast meeting with guest speaker Mike Nicoli, Executive Director of the Louisiana National Guard Foundation.  Members learned how the private foundation assists the military, veterans, and their families through various financial initiatives and grants, while  also working to uphold the Louisiana National Guard’s mission. John Zollinger mentioned the $3.5 trillion bill proposed requiring all financial institutions to report accounts  with over $600 to the IRS in an effort to catch tax invaders. He suggested reaching out to congress to keep this from happening.
