Developing and Growing St. Bernard Parish

Meaghan McCormack, CEO St. Bernard Economic Development Foundation

Thanks to member George Messina for catering this week’s networking event at Rooftop on Basin.

Guest speaker Meaghan McCormack, presented the latest developments and the five year plan for St. Bernard Parish. Only a 10-15 minute drive from the French Quarter, McCormack said it is a great place to live, work and play and encourages all to take a second look at “the Parish”. With the second highest GDP in the state and a population of forty-eight thousand and growing, the Parish is encouraging large businesses to consider operating here. St. Bernard is home to Nunez Community College that houses the Southern Culinary Library.
