Kimberly Singletary is a nationally award-winning writer and editor and has served as the managing editor of Biz New Orleans Magazine, the only monthly business magazine in Louisiana, since its inception in Oct. 2014. During that time, the publication has won multiple state and national awards of excellence every year for reporting on the most pressing issues affecting the business community and profiling the people behind the industries driving the region. In addition to running the magazine, Kim also cohosts a weekly podcast called BizTalks where she interviews various local leaders on a wide variety of topics. Outside of Biz New Orleans, Kim has been a frequent contributor to The New Orleans Advocate/Times Picayune for 10 years.

Kimberly shared Bizneworleans is the only monthly business catalog in the New Orleans area. Biz New Orleans is published by Renaissance Publishing, a locally owned media company. The catalog is designed to have a lifestyle feel and to highlight the good things that are going on in the New Orleans area with businesses and business owners. They also produce a Biz 500 catalog once a year that highlights the 500 top CEO’s of the year that is published in January.  Kimberly informed GNOEA that 68% of their readers are male and 32% are female, average reader age is 52. Bizneworleans has won 26 national awards and 62 press club awards. Bizneworleans also has a weekly podcast with 205 episodes published.
