Charles Carriere, Carriere Consulting, LLC, Strategic Partner

Charles Carriere is a New Orleans native who attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a Morehead Scholar. He received his BA in Anthropology. After teaching for a year at the Jakarta International School, he attended the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, earning his MBA in Finance. He worked over 20 years at Johnson Rice & Company before starting a software company that focused on 3D scanning. He is now a Strategic Partner for Schooley Mitchell, a cost-reduction consulting firm. Charles is married and has four children.

Charles analyzes their client’s expenses across several cost categories to determine whether they are overspending, and if cost-saving solutions can be found. They present their findings, if the client chooses to move forward with implementation, they remain as a single point of contact for ongoing monitoring, analysis, and support.

Consultants receive no kickbacks, residuals, or incentives from providers. Schooley Mitchell’s only fees are self-funded from the savings generated. If savings aren’t found, their clients don’t pay – a truly risk-free and mutually beneficial model. Schooley Mitchell is the largest independent cos-reduction firm in North America. Their clients save an average of 28% with their services. The majority of the savings can be found in the credit card fees their clients are pays, with telecom being another high savings category.
