GNOEA will not have a breakfast meeting on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, but we will meet again on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Rose Garden of Jefferson.Â

Tuesday we had the pleasure of having as our guests, Wesley Ramsey and Pam Hymel, both guests of Robert Ramsey, Ramseyâ€™s Diamond Jewelers.

PROGRAM

Our program today featured GNOEA Membersâ€™ Malcolm Ehrhardt, The Ehrhardt Group and Bill Dalton, Firefly Digital.Â Their program informed us on what Social Media is and what it could do for your business.

Social media includes web-based and mobile technologies used to turn communication into interactive dialogue. Â Social media is defined as â€œmedia for social interaction as a super-set beyond social communicationâ€. Â Enabled by ubiquitously accessible and scalable communication techniques, social media has substantially changed the way organizations, communities, and individuals communicate.

Recently, GNOEA has gained a new member into our association, Charles Eshleman, III with Ellis, Gillis & Baker, Inc. and his classification is “General Insuranceâ€.Â
